INITIATIVES

With the support of Net Impact Central, Net Impact UMass Amherst participates in several ongoing initiatives at the local level.  Please see below for further details on some of our current initiatives.   

Service Corps

Net Impact's Service Corps program provides an opportunity for members to use their business skills to help their community.

Volunteers engage in short-term, part-time consulting projects related to finance, marketing, new program development, business planning, fundraising and strategic planning.

Board Fellows

Board Fellows is an exciting new program that brings valuable business skills to nonprofits, while exposing Net Impact members to nonprofit management and governance. During a six month term, Net Impact Board Fellows serve as non-voting board members with a local nonprofit agency and complete a strategic project designed to further advance the mission of the organization.
